Oregon High School Volleyball - Valley Catholic edged by Cascade

The Cascade Cougars held off the host Valley Catholic Valiants volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Helens for a non-league test on Monday, August 28. Cascade will confront a Lions team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
The Valiants (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Westside Christian (Lake Oswego, OR). The Eagles enter the 3A Lewis & Clark test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Westside Christian was nudged by Creswell (Creswell, OR), 2-1, in a non-league test.
