The Menomonie Mustangs (Menomonie, WI) volleyball nudged the visiting Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI), 2-1 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Menomonie upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Clayton (Clayton, WI) to clash with the Bears in a non-league battle on Friday, August 25.
