In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Montgomery Catholic Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the St. Michael Catholic Cardinals .

The Knights (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Buckhorn (New Market, AL). The Bucks come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Buckhorn nudged Decatur (Decatur, AL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
