Texas High School Volleyball - San Benito over Vela

The San Benito Greyhounds (San Benito, TX) volleyball overcame the visiting Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX), 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, San Benito betters its record to 6-3 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to McAllen (McAllen, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Friday, August 25. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 18-4. McAllen won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Mercedes (Mercedes, TX)

The Sabercats now sport a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Sharyland for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 26. Vela will face a Rattlers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Palmview (La Joya, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 23-1.
