The St. Monica Mariners volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host St. Bernard Vikings to 0 in the Mariners non-league victory on Friday.

The Mariners now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary for a Camino Real game on Tuesday, August 29. St. Monica will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 3-1 league win over Paraclete (Lancaster, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-0.

The Vikings (0-8) will now prepare for their game against Bishop Conaty-Loretto (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats enter the Santa Fe game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Bishop Conaty-Loretto gained a win over Beacon Hill (Camarillo, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
