The Lathrop Malemutes felled the visiting West Valley Wolf Pack flag football team by a score of 25-6 in Monday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Malemutes face the Redington Huskies (Wasilla, AK) in a Northern Lights challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Lathrop will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Huskies go into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 13-0 league loss to West Valley (Fairbanks, AK).

The Wolf Pack (2-2) will now prepare for their test against North Pole (North Pole, AK). The Patriots come into the Mid Alaska test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, North Pole went down by Wasilla (Wasilla, AK), 8-0, in a league test.
