In Monday's league outing, the visiting Butler County Bears soccer squad scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Edmonson County Wildcats.

The Bears (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Breckinridge County (Harned, KY). The Fighting Tigers go into the District 11 outing with a 1-4 record.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) in a District 11 test, on Tuesday, August 26. Edmonson County will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Green Waves come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Larue County (Hodgenville, KY).
