Ohio High School Soccer - Columbus Grove knocks off Jefferson

In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Columbus Grove Bulldogs soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Jefferson Wildcats.
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Botkins (Botkins, OH). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Botkins edged St. John's (Delphos, OH), 7-0, in a league test.
The Wildcats now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ada for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Jefferson will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Calvary Christian (Bellefontaine, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-0.
