Stansbury Stallions (Stansbury Park, UT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Deseret Peak Golden Eagles (Tooele, UT), 9-1 in a league test.

The Stallions (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Tooele (Tooele, UT). The Buffaloes go into the 4A Region 11 outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Tooele was overwhelmed by Sky View (Smithfield, UT), 3-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Ridgeline Riverhawks (Millville, UT) in a 4A Region 11 outing, on Wednesday, August 27. Deseret Peak will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Riverhawks go into the outing with a 6-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Green Canyon (North Logan, UT).
