Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY) and the visiting Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY), saw Estill County's soccer squad knock off Rowan County by a score of 2-0.

The Engineers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Montgomery County tipped Paris (Paris, KY), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Vikings confront the Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) in a District 61 test, on Thursday, August 28. Rowan County will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over West Carter (Olive Hill, KY).
