The North Pitt Panthers volleyball squad (Bethel, NC), was knocked off 2-0 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC)

The Knights (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Gates County (Gatesville, NC). The Red Barons enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Gates County notched a victory over Washington County (Plymouth, NC), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, August 27. North Pitt will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Seahawks go into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Martin County (Williamston, NC).
