The Raiders now hold a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Rowan County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 26. East Carter will play a Vikings squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Vikings record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Blazer moves to 2-2 on the year. The Tomcats travel to St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV) to play the Irish in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 28. The Irish go into the bout with a record of 2-0. St. Joseph Central won 4-0 in their recent non-league game against Lewis County (Weston, WV)
