The Green Valley Gators soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Del Sol Dragons to 0 in the Gators league victory on Monday.
The Gators now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Cimarron-Memorial for a non-league game on Wednesday, August 27. Green Valley will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
The Dragons (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Doral Academy Red Rock (Las Vegas, NV). The Dragons come into the 4A Southern - Desert game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Doral Academy Red Rock edged Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon (Henderson, NV), 4-1, in a league game.
