Ohio High School Soccer - Mineral Ridge knocks off Garfield

The Mineral Ridge Rams soccer squad scored 13 points and held the host Garfield G-Men to 0 in the Rams league victory on Monday.

The Rams now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Crestview for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet game on Wednesday, August 27. Mineral Ridge will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 league win over Newton Falls (Newton Falls, OH). The Rebels record now stands at 1-2.

The G-Men (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Liberty (Youngstown, OH). The Leopards come into the Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Liberty was overwhelmed by Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH), 2-1, in a league game.
