The New Buffalo Bison soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers to 0 in the Bison league victory on Monday.

The Bison now hold a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Prairie for a non-league contest on Thursday, August 28. New Buffalo will face a Cougars team coming off a 9-0 league win over South Bend Washington (South Bend, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.

The Lakers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Covert (Covert, MI). The Bulldogs enter the Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Covert by Michigan Lutheran (St. Joseph, MI), 8-0, in a league contest.
