In Monday's league test, the host Raleigh Charter Phoenix soccer team scored a close 8-2 triumph over the Triangle Math & Science Tigers.
With the triumph, Raleigh Charter moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A test on Wednesday, August 27. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-0. East Wake Academy won 8-1 in their recent non-league test against American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC)
The Tigers now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Neuse Charter for a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A outing on Wednesday, August 27. Triangle Math & Science will play a Cougars squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-4.
