Georgia High School Softball - Cherokee Bluff sneaks past Seckinger

The Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) softball nipped the visiting Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA), 9-8 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Bears now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Jefferson for a 3A Region 8 test on Tuesday, August 26. Cherokee Bluff will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 11-0 league win over East Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 9-0.

The Jaguars (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Roswell (Roswell, GA). The Hornets come into the 5A Region 7 outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Roswell was tipped by Milton (Milton, GA), 4-2, in a league outing.
