Georgia High School Softball - East Hall knocked off by Jefferson

The Jefferson Dragons overwhelmed the visiting East Hall Vikings softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Dragons meet the Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) in a 3A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 9-0 season record. The Bears go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Seckinger (Buford, GA).

The Vikings (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Warriors go into the 3A Region 8 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Oconee County was routed by Monroe Area (Monroe, GA), 5-2, in a league challenge.
