The Grove Ridgerunners softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Skiatook Bulldogs to 5 in the Ridgerunners non-league win on Monday.

The Ridgerunners now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jay for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Grove will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 17-8 non-league loss to Wyandotte (Wyandotte, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-7.

The Bulldogs (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Verdigris (Claremore, OK). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Verdigris held off Claremore (Claremore, OK), 6-1, in a non-league test.
