Georgia High School Softball - Heritage Newton

The Newton Rams overwhelmed the host Heritage Patriots softball squad by a count of 9-3 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Rams meet the Archer Tigers (Lawrenceville, GA) in a 6A Region 4 challenge, on Wednesday, August 27. Newton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 12-4 league win over Grayson (Loganville, GA).

The Patriots (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region 4 challenge with a 2-6 record.
