The Pirates now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caney Valley for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. Sperry will encounter a Trojans team coming off a 12-2 league win over Nowata (Nowata, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Okmulgee drops to 0-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Weleetka (Weleetka, OK) to clash with the Outlaws in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 26. The Outlaws go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Weleetka won 17-1 in their recent non-league bout against Graham/Dustin (Weleetka, OK)
