In Monday's non-league match, the Adair County Indians (Columbia, KY) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Indians confront the Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY) in a District 20 match, on Tuesday, August 26. Adair County will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Washington County (Springfield, KY).

The Lakers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY). The Hornets go into the District 16 battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Metcalfe County achieved victory over Barren County (Glasgow, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
