Victory Christian Lions (Pell City, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors (Talladega, AL), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Victory Christian improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Lions host Appalachian (Oneonta, AL) to meet the Eagles in a 1A Area 10 challenge on Tuesday, August 26. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Appalachian won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Cleveland (Cleveland, AL)

Next, the Silent Warriors meet the Woodland Bobcats (Woodland, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Alabama School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
