The Apollo Eagles edged the visiting Owensboro Catholic Aces volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Monday's league game.
Coming up next, the Eagles play the Edmonson County Wildcats (Brownsville, KY) in a non-league outing, on Friday, August 29. Apollo will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Wildcats come into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Green County (Greensburg, KY).
With the loss, Owensboro Catholic drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Aces travel to Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY) to play the Gators in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 26. The Gators enter the game with a record of 3-1. Greenwood won 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Logan County (Russellville, KY)
