Kentucky High School Volleyball - Metcalfe County over Barren County

The Barren County Trojans volleyball squad (Glasgow, KY), dropped 2-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY)

With the win, Metcalfe County improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Russell County (Russell Springs, KY) to encounter the Lakers in a District 16 battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Lakers go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Russell County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Adair County (Columbia, KY)

The Trojans now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Allen County-Scottsville for a District 15 contest on Tuesday, August 26. Barren County will battle a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 5-1.
