In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Betsy Layne Bobcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Jenkins Cavaliers.
The Bobcats (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Belfry (Belfry, KY). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Belfry lost by Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cavaliers meet the Knott County Central Patriots (Hindman, KY) in a District 53 challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Jenkins will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Barren County (Glasgow, KY).
