Ohio High School Volleyball - Buckeye Local over Brooke

The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Buckeye Local Panthers (Rayland, OH) and the visiting Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV), saw Buckeye Local's volleyball squad notch a victory over Brooke by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Buckeye Local improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Toronto (Toronto, OH) to encounter the Red Knights in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Red Knights go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Toronto lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Heartland Christian (Columbiana, OH)

The Bruins now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Glen for a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 26. Brooke will meet a Golden Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Golden Bears record now stands at 2-0.
