The Mitchell County Eagles volleyball squad (Camilla, GA), was beaten 3-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Cook Hornets (Adel, GA)
The Hornets (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Westover (Albany, GA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Westover was beaten by Baker County (Newton, GA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Chattahoochee County Panthers (Cusseta, GA) in a 1A Area 1 test, on Thursday, August 28. Mitchell County will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Jordan (Columbus, GA).
