In Monday's league challenge, the host Danville Christian Academy Warriors volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Danville Admirals.

The Warriors (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Burgin (Burgin, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Burgin was tipped by Cornerstone Christian Academy (Shelbyville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Admirals now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garrard County for a District 45 test on Tuesday, August 26. Danville will face a Golden Lions squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY). The Golden Lions record now stands at 3-6.
