In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Grayson County Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats.
The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity (Whitesville, KY). The Raiders come into the District 12 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Trinity gained a win over Cornerstone Christian Academy (Shelbyville, KY), 2-1, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Russellville (Russellville, KY). The Panthers enter the District 13 game with a 0-0 record.
