Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA) and the visiting Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA), observed Holston's volleyball team hold off Twin Springs by a count of 3-2.

The Cavaliers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Happy Valley (Elizabethton, TN). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Happy Valley was edged by Cherokee (Rogersville, TN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Titans now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Council for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28.
