In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting James Kenan Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lakewood Leopards.
The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC). The Eagles go into the Swine Valley 2A/3A test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Rosewood gained a win over Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC), 3-1, in a league test.
The Leopards now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hobbton for a Carolina 1A/2A test on Tuesday, August 26. Lakewood will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Jones (Trenton, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
