In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting McComb Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 win over the Tylertown Chiefs.

With the win, McComb advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Poplarville (Poplarville, MS) to face the Hornets in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 5-3.

The Chiefs now sport a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Marion for a Class 3A Region 8 outing on Tuesday, August 26. Tylertown will play a Trojans team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 10-3.
