Georgia High School Volleyball - Thomas County Central over Sherwood Christian Academy

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA) and the host Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles (Albany, GA), observed Thomas County Central's volleyball team top Sherwood Christian Academy by a count of 3-1.

The Yellow Jackets (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Valwood (Valdosta, GA). The Valiants enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Valwood notched a victory over Tift County (Tifton, GA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Eagles battle the Grace Christian Academy Cougars (Bainbridge, GA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 28. Sherwood Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 1-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Lee County (Leesburg, GA).
