North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Stokes over West Stokes

August 25, 2025: Walnut Cove, NC 27052

The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) and the visiting West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC), saw South Stokes's volleyball squad notch a victory over West Stokes by a score of 3-1.

With the win, South Stokes improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Sauras travel to College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC) to battle the Royals in a Greater Triad 1A/2A contest on Tuesday, August 26. The Royals enter the contest with a record of 1-4. College Prep & Leadership Academy won 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Dudley (Greensboro, NC)

Next, the Wildcats battle the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) in a Northwest 3A/4A contest, on Thursday, August 28. West Stokes will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Granite Bears go into the battle with a 4-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Starmount (Boonville, NC).
