In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Providence Panthers football squad scored a good 42-13 victory over the South Mecklenburg Sabres.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 2. Providence will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Wolf Pack enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 29-0 non-league win over Concord (Concord, NC).
The Sabres (0-2) will now prepare for their match against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, East Mecklenburg dropped by Hopewell (Huntersville, NC), 34-0, in a non-league match.
