The United Longhorns topped the host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Longhorns now have a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nixon for a non-league test on Friday, August 26. United will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Alexander (Laredo, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-6.

The Bears (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Holmes (San Antonio, TX). The Huskies enter the non-league test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Holmes dropped by Warren (San Antonio, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
