With the win, Wade Hampton upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Generals travel to Legacy Early College (Greenville, SC) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 30. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Copperheads now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Northwestern for a non-league bout on Monday, August 28. Catawba Ridge will play a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
