Nebraska High School Softball - Pierce bounces Boone Central/Newman Grove

The Pierce Bluejays routed the host Boone Central/Newman Grove Cardinals softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Bluejays (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Cuming County (West Point, NE). The Cadets go into the non-league battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Cuming County was routed by South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE), 16-14, in a non-league battle.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Bend Central for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 31.
