Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Covington-Douglas Wildcats (Covington, OK) and the visiting Oilton Panthers (Oilton, OK), witnessed Covington-Douglas's softball squad tip Oilton by a count of 9-4.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Oklahoma Bible for a non-league match on Monday, August 28. Covington-Douglas will face a Trojans squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Kremlin-Hillsdale (Kremlin, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Oilton moves to 7-14 on the season. The Panthers host Davenport (Davenport, OK) to face the Bulldogs in a Class A match on Monday, August 28. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 7-12. Davenport won 9-2 in their recent non-league match against Prue (Prue, OK)
