The Marist War Eagles softball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Parkview Panthers to 2 in the War Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Marist moves its record to 6-4 on the year. The War Eagles travel to South Cobb (Austell, GA) to clash with the Eagles in a 6A Region 4 game on Tuesday, August 29. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 2-5.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Brookwood Broncos (Snellville, GA) in a 7A Region 4 game, on Tuesday, August 29. Parkview will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Broncos come into the game with a 7-2 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA).
