The Amarillo Sandies held off the host Burleson Elks volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Sandies now have a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Byron Nelson for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Amarillo will confront a Bobcat team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Trinity (Euless, TX). The Bobcat record now stands at 16-1.

The Elks (9-14) will now prepare for their test against Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX). The Bobcat enter the non-league test with a 16-1 record. In their last test, Byron Nelson held off Trinity (Euless, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
