The Anderson County Bearcats topped the visiting Washington County Commanders volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bearcats now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sayre for a non-league test on Monday, August 28. Anderson County will confront a Spartans team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Spartans record now stands at 10-0.
The Commanders (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Lexington Christian was knocked off by Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY), 3-0, in a league test.
