Georgia High School Volleyball - Jackson County over Athens Academy

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA) and the host Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA), saw Jackson County's volleyball squad beat Athens Academy by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Jackson County upgrades its record to 16-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Apalachee (Winder, GA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Apalachee won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Westminster Christian Academy (Watkinsville, GA)

The Spartans now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Arabia Mountain for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. Athens Academy will play a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over M.L. King (Lithonia, GA). The Rams record now stands at 9-2.
