The Ballard Memorial Bombers (Barlow, KY) volleyball overcame the visiting Hickman County Falcons (Clinton, KY), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Ballard Memorial betters its record to 2-4 on the year. The Bombers host Mayfield (Mayfield, KY) to face the Cardinals in a District 3 outing on Tuesday, August 29. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 10-0. Mayfield won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against St. Mary (Paducah, KY)
The Falcons now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary for a non-league outing on Monday, August 28. Hickman County will face a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY). The Vikings record now stands at 1-5.
