The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Monmouth United Red Storm (Monmouth, IL) and the host Biggsville West Central Heat (Biggsville, IL), saw Monmouth United's volleyball squad beat Biggsville West Central by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Monmouth United upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Red Storm travel to Kewanee (Kewanee, IL) to play the Boilermakers in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Boilermakers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Kewanee lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL)

The Heat now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rushville-Industry for a non-league bout on Monday, August 28.
