The CAM Cougars held off the host Denison-Schleswig Monarchs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Union for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 29. CAM will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Clarke (Osceola, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.

The Monarchs (0-9) will now prepare for their test against Atlantic (Atlantic, IA). The Trojans enter the Hawkeye Ten test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Atlantic was nudged by Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
