The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR) and the visiting Salem Academy Crusaders (Salem, OR), saw Cascade Christian's volleyball squad nip Salem Academy by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Cascade Christian upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Challengers host Crater (Central Point, OR) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Crater won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against South Medford (Medford, OR)

The Crusaders now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Philomath for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7.
