Sam Houston Hurricanes (San Antonio, TX) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Cotulla Cowboys (Cotulla, TX), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Hurricanes battle the Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 match, on Tuesday, August 29. Sam Houston will attempt to better on its 12-8 season record. The Owls come into the match with a 5-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX).

With the loss, Cotulla drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Bandera (Bandera, TX) to battle the BULLDOGS in a non-league match on Friday, September 1. The BULLDOGS come into the match with a record of 16-11.
