The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA) and the host Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA), saw Encinal's volleyball squad beat Tennyson by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Encinal upgrades its record to 7-4 on the year. The Jets host Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Lancers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to San Rafael for a non-league bout on Sunday, August 27. Tennyson will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
